Nasir Mohammed Yunusa holds an MBA in Accounting from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the Nigerian College of Accounting in Jos, and HND Accounting from the Kaduna Polytechnic. He also holds a Professional Diploma in Mass Communication from Bayero University, Kano. He is a Certified National Accountant and an Associate member of the Association of National Accountant of Nigeria. He is also a member of the Institute of Credit and Risk Management and the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria.
